Welcome, yoga enthusiasts and those that are simply curious about yoga & meditation!

Would you like to feel more ease and steadiness so you can approach your day with joy?

Are you busy, frantic, or worried, and know your approach to daily life must change, but you are not sure where to start?

Would you like to commit to your well-being in a welcoming community of like-minded and inspiring peers, so that you are fully supported, remain motivated, and continuously encouraged to stay on course, so that you continue to make great choices you know are best for your health, purpose, and lifelong joy?

Are you ready to be in love with your life, knowing each day you show up well-rested, focused, energized, and happy, knowing that your confident, kind sense of self supports you, those you care about, and those who truly need you?

Yoga can help, and we know firsthand and  have witnessed the transformation in our students.  It’s why we have dedicated ourselves to this work and, even more importantly, why we practice & study each and every day.

As you probably know, yoga relieves physical tension and facilitates healing (you can read all sorts of research here).  Yet yoga practice also helps us reach for more, to tap into and feel an inner radiance that makes a vital, enthusiastic life a tangible, ongoing experience.

I’m Virginia Hill, the driving force behind AHA Yoga, and I am thrilled to connect with you about Yoga and Meditation offerings at my new studio opening in Lake City.  I’ve dedicated myself to teaching yoga because it has changed my life and those of my students.  I see them gain more comfort, confidence, & ease, and leave with a little more lightness of body and heart, filled with more poise, clarity, and enthusiasm in their everyday lives.  Personally, my practice has enriched over the years, and is now a strong foundation providing daily support.  It nurtures me through challenges, and also helps me be open to the richest experiences and even excel in ways I never would have imagined.

Want to feel these benefits & profound changes yoga & meditation foster?

Simply put, yoga WORKS.   Yoga enhances our physical well-being, but that is just the start.  In order to access these deeper riches, it is indeed a practice, which means it requires dedication and an ever-increasing understanding so that the deepest benefits can work cumulative, positive life-changing affects.  Yoga encourages physical mobility and comfort and, most importantly, offers a disciplined, creative use of a now-peaceful mind.  It is a means to heal, and also reach your greater potential.  And, practicing with others helps us stay committed, inspired, and sometimes even more playful.

It is with this knowledge and visceral, energetic experience that I created these courses, each designed with particular sequences for specific purposes and student needs.  There are various types of classes and at different times to you can find what is just right for you.

It empowers us to do and be more that we love.  To this end, my courses include attentive anatomic detail so you learn more about your own, precise, complex, and wondrous body (and YES, it is wondrous, no matter its changes, capacity, or society’s judgments!).  Such detail also focuses and therefore refines the mind, so you can rest and be energized simultaneously.  These attentive cues during practice even influence postural habits long after class is over, so you start happily integrating more healthy and happy habits into your daily routines.

Our courses also weave into physical practice all sorts of gems from yoga philosophy, and often reference other resources and home practice tips, so that we learn more and more about time-tested modes of self care, how the mind works, and how to use this wisdom masterfully to develop our best self.  My approach is grounded in a living tradition; this means that your own teacher is also supported by her teachers, and that the teachings here are potent, time-tested, and will remain that way.

So, if you feel that nudge and know that there is so much within you that simply needs support to emerge and shine, or maybe you have heard about the amazing benefits of yoga and always wanted to experience the depth of transformation it can provide, come practice within our inviting community during the lovingly designed 8-week Spring Term 2020 courses. If you seek to feel better in body and mind, so you can flourish, then this is the yoga home for you.  Let’s get started and establish your accessible, sustainable, and enjoyable Yoga Practice.

Come find out more & experience this for yourself by committing to your very own practice.

Come see why so many folks commit to a weekly–or more!–practice, and feel the fruits of your very own vibrant, committed practice.

AHA Yoga & Meditation Courses are designed to enhance your experience of the benefits of yoga by encouraging one-pointed focus and systematic techniques in ways that facilitate regular practice, the key to a fuller, more rewarding experience

To achieve this goal, we accept enrollments on a Course basis; each Course runs for a 8-week term this Spring, & students enroll for the full course.  Students register & attend that particular course, the same day and time each week of the Term.  Term courses intelligently progress our students towards overall, lasting well-being and empowerment

You’ll work and strengthen, release tension, and relax.  You’ll access potentials of mind you may not have even known possible.
